At the heart of my work is a person-centred approach.
I believe meaningful change begins in a space where you feel heard, respected, and free to explore your experience at your own pace. My role isn’t to provide answers, but to support a process of curiosity, reflection, and self-understanding.
My practice is trauma-informed and influenced by approaches such as Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Gestalt Therapy, Focusing, Psychodrama and guided imagery. These are not rigid frameworks, but lenses that may help us explore emotions, relationships, patterns, and possibilities from different perspectives.
Together, we’ll shape an approach that feels supportive, relevant, and true to you.
I’m Victoria, an Argentinian counsellor based in Melbourne, offering online counselling in English and Spanish.
I’ve always been drawn to understanding how people experience the world, make sense of their lives, and relate to themselves and others. I’m particularly interested in the ways clearer communication can foster greater understanding, connection, and choice in our relationships.
The name Lihue holds personal significance for me. It comes from a Mapuche word meaning ‘life’ and reflects a story that has accompanied me since childhood. For me, it speaks to growth, connection, and the many ways a life can unfold over time.
I aim to offer a safe space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of your experiences, a place where you can arrive as you are and become more fully yourself.
